Collaboration History
The Korea–Türkiye research partnership is grounded in:
- Prior exchange visit — Prof. Syafrudin visited Türkiye (funded by Sejong University), establishing personal collaboration with Dr. Güneşer
- Joint 2025 publication — "AE-BPNN: Autoencoder-based Battery SOH Estimation via EIS," Scientific Reports, DOI: 10.1038/s41598-025-12771-4
- Shared infrastructure — Access to complementary hardware (ITU EIS lab) and AI compute (SJU HPC cluster)
Graduate Students & Research Staff
PhD students and postdoctoral researchers from both institutions will participate in:
- Joint supervision arrangements (co-supervised PhD theses)
- Exchange visits (minimum 2-week stays in each direction)
- Workshop organization and co-presentation
- Open-source code development and documentation
Specific student assignments to be announced upon project start.
